I'M EMMA

I am so lucky to be many things.

Midwife, Nurse, educator, daughter, sister, partner and puppy mum.  But one thing I am not (despite all my years of shift workingis a coffee drinker!

I have lived and grown in little old Hobart, Tasmania. This is where I have worked, we have built our own little hobby farm and been part of an incredible community.

Now I am bringing it all together to support women and their families to feel informed, empowered and supported throughout pregnancy and beyond.

WHERE IT STARTED

Midwifery wasn't on my radar early in my career. I became a Registered Nurse and moved between a few specialties before landing happily in the Emergency Department. It was while working as an ED Nurse that I first witnessed birth.

I knew in the moment that I wanted to know more and follow on with their journey. That night I applied for Midwifery and here I am a few years later working as a Continuity of Care Midwife.

Working collaboratively with an incredible team, building connections and providing Midwifery-led, women centered care has been and remains my passion. However now I want to give more. I want to provide women with a way to access education and support easily. Whilst also providing a platform for families to begin fostering their village and community.
